18 Weeks!

Pictures taken 6/23/09

Here we are at 18 weeks! Dave and I spent a couple days last week at the beach with Kelly in Delware. It was great just sitting in the sand and relaxing.
I can really feel the baby move now and sometimes I can actually see my belly move. It's pretty neat. Dave has not been privileged to feel these kicks because every time I call him over and he puts his hand on my belly, the baby stops!! :)

17 Weeks... Movement!

I have been feeling the baby move (which is very exciting) and I've noticed that the hormones are starting to effect me more and more... poor Dave. :)

Saying Goodbye to Rossie..

As we prepare the nursery, and rearrange our entire apartment to fit the office stuff elsewhere, we have had to get rid of some things. One of the items that Dave will truly miss is his good old friend, Rossie. Rossie has been hanging in our office (behind the door) for about a year. But now, it is time to say goodbye... Goodbye Rossie, see you when we buy a house. :(

Boy or Girl

For a girl we are thinking this polka dots theme. I like it but Dave is partial because he does not want any pink!! Hahahaha, he is in for a big surprise! ;)

For a boy we are thinking Jungle theme!! I love the monkeys! :)

16 weeks

This picture is me and baby at 16 weeks. I had my third appointment yesterday, June 9, 2009, and we waited in the waiting room for over an hour. Once we got into the room we sat there for about 15 minutes when the Doctor finally arrived. At this point we were both frustrated and ready to get out of there! Especially Dave, the chairs are so uncomfortable! Once she came in she asked if we had any questions and took the little ultrasound machine and listened to the heart beat. The visit with the Doctor lasted a total of 3 minutes! It was a relief to know that everything was still going good with our little baby. :)

12 weeks

This is the second ultrasound we had done at 12 weeks. This one is my favorite, so far, because you can see his/her profile, the spine, and the legs and feet. It was really funny when they did the ultrasound because the baby was moving around so much. He/She was sliding up and down inside like he/she was on a slip-and-slide. It was pretty funny and we can't wait for our next appointment July 7th when we hopefully see more of our baby and find out the gender! :)

We created this blog to keep our friends and family updated on "baby oblas". As of today we don't know the sex of the baby, so it's first name is currently "baby".
