I forgot to take a picture last week because I was in Sunbury preparing for Dave's surprise 25th birthday party! It was a blast and I think we got him good! :)
Emily has been moving sooo much. It's unbelievable how much I can feel her move around. Sometimes she pushes herself right against my stomach and it gets really hard. Then she'll move away and it's squishy again! She is very silly and pretty active.
We finished the changing table. We had a few bumps in the road while doing this, but it's finally complete. The changing table has three different color stains on it. The first coat was a natural and did nothing to the color. Then we got another color called golden pecan, which turned out to be very RED!!!! Luckily, Mr. Oblas had some darker stain called Early American and we added a coat of that. Adding the wax (the finish) was easy. We th0ught we were in the clear until we put on the doors and we kept screwing it up! One screw went through the wood and split it. We are very greatful for Mr. Oblas becasue he seems to save us when we have trouble. He brought over some wood glue and a clamp and fixed it! Yay!!! After all that work, I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.
Next project is.. the Dresser......
While I was in Sunbury I finished the hanging quilt. Grandma Wagner really helped me out with that and we love the way it looks!! :)
I also made a big pillow (not pictured) and a smaller one. The smaller one (pictured below) is just for decorative purposes, and the big one we will use when playing with Emily on the floor.
Everything is turning out great! Thanks for all the Support! :)
